MBA Game Plan Co-founders Discuss Placing Finishing Touches on a B-School Application

Nov. 14, 2006 – Scott Shrum and Omari Bouknight, co-founders of MBA Game Plan were featured today in an interview with Janet Nakano of MBA Podcaster. The show’s segment entitled, “The Finishing Touches On Your Application: How To Make The Most Of Your Application In The Short Time Left,” speaks to the actionable steps that business school applicants can take to maximize their chances of admission with only a short time remaining before submission deadlines. Gwen Smith, an admission consultant with Veritas MBA also participated in the interview.

Jun. 21, 2006 – Scott Shrum and Omari Bouknight, co-authors of Your MBA Game Plan and co-founders of MBA Game Plan were interviewed today by Karen Schweitzer of About.com.  The in-depth interview highlights Scott and Omari’s reasons for writing Your MBA Game Plan, their decision to launch the first essay and resume evaluation service, and some tips on how write quality essays and resumes. In addition to the interview, Karen completed a brief review of the book.

Feb. 10, 2006 – Scott Shrum and Omari Bouknight, co-founders of MBA Game Plan were interviewed today by Janet Nakano of MBA Podcaster. The show’s segment entitled, “MBA Admission Strategic Plan: What You Can Do Now to Help Get Accepted Next Year,” addresses a number of questions that business school applicants commonly ask. The podcast is the sixth episode in an ongoing series of audio segments for those applying for an MBA.

MBA Game Plan Supports Rising Farmworker Dream Fund

Nov. 4, 2005 – MBA Game Plan, LLC today announced that it would support the Rising Farmworker Dream Fund and its first initiative, the Migrant MBA Project through the donation of copies of Your MBA Game Plan. The goal of the initiative is to assist a select group of migrant students who demonstrate potential for success in obtaining an MBA from a top 30 school. The project will provide intensive mentoring resources to get students prepared for the challenging MBA admissions process.
